(1) All arrangements are made as usual in keeping with the solemnity of the Mass.
(2) The color of the day is white.
(3)
The paschal candle is lighted before Mass, extinguished after the
Gospel, and taken away after Mass; it is stored carefully away and not
used again until the blessing of the baptismal font on the vigil or eve
of Pentecost.
